Congratulations Jacinda and Clarke
Congratulations Jacinda and Clarke for you new baby girl. Welcome to our world, that is a big job having a baby while you're the prime minister. I have a suggestion to make, you should name your baby Claire Ardern Gayford.

Visualization

My mom’s spaghetti is the best;
no other mom can beat it;
and every time she cooks it
I can hardly wait to eat it.
I twist the strands around my fork
with wonderful control,
but as I raise them to my mouth
they fall back in the bowl.
I twirl the noodles once again
with all the skill I’m able,
but as I lift them up to eat
they tumble to the table.
I spin my fork; spaghetti winds
around and round once more;
but as it nears my waiting lips
it slithers to the floor.
My mom’s spaghetti is the best;
no other mom can beat it;
but I would like it better
if I got a chance to eat it.

I’ve improved in my Reading results for e-asttle. Because I’ve been in school
this whole year. I’m within the level I’m supposed to be in. Next term I hope
to get a 4B or 4P if not I’ll hopefully stay within the curriculum level.

Matariki art

At school we did Matariki art . We did because it was like the Starry Night by Van Gogh we used it because of the stars. It was Van Gogh's style to do thick layers or circles around the stars. When we did it, it took us a few lessons to listen and learn. We finished our art and put it on display for our school Matariki celebration in the hall for everyone and anyone to see it.

Lotus flower

There was an activity that we had to make a Lotus flower. In order to make it you have to take it out, there is numbers 5 to 1 and a one green one. You have to do it 5 down to 1, but first you have to put the green one at the bottom of it. We it's done you have to staple it upside down then the Lotus flower will look like the photo on the right.

Basic facts T2W6

This week I’ve gone backwards. Because I haven’t really been practicing.
I’ll  practice at home and try go faster because it is timed, I’ll spend 10 to 20
minutes practicing and playing some games to help me improve.
Next week,I would like to hopefully move to stage 7. By the end of term 2
I hope to be on stage 7 or 8.

Origami Lotus flower and a Bell

Today was a fun day we got to go to the Buddhist temple. One of the activities was to make an Origami Lotus flower, on the flower it has numbers 5 to 1 and when you make it you have to put it biggest number to smallest number. The Lotus flower grows in muddy water it is also native to Asia, the Bell was given to us at the end of all the lessons. On the Bell you can see that it has a red tag hanging out of the Bell, the red tag has 3G and 4G. The 3G is Do Good Deeds / Say Good Words / Think Good Thoughts, the 4G is Give Confident / Give Joy / Give Hope / Give Convenient. That is what I made and what I got from the kind people at the Buddhist Temple today.
