Yesterday morning years four, five and six went to the zoo to look at the amazing animals. We all started walking towards the bus, while we were walking the grass was muddy.
Our first zoo helper was Kirsty, she took us to see the tuataras. When we got there she said that “ Most of them a camera flagged into their habitat. When we were walking towards the door Kirsty said “ Make sure you close the door before we open another” so we did. She said that because the animals we see might go out and the next thing you know is that everyone is screaming.
One of the animals that we saw was a Kea, a Kea is a type of bird that is brownish. The biggest one is more likely the boss. The other Keas are like the slaves, they get the food and chew it and swallow it.
We saw the Blue ducks, it doesn’t mean if it’s named Blue duck it’s the colour of it. Here is a photo that has information on it about the Blue duck you may not see it properly. Here is a picture of the Blue duck, it’s not a real one it’s made out of cardboard.
After we finished looking at the amazing animals we took a photo infront of the tintd elephant:
I had a very good and exciting day at the Auckland Zoo looking at the amzing animals that are so beautiful.
